Cubix Privacy Policy

As a company, Cubix does not collect data outside of information you explictly disclose to us. Our policy on privacy is simple. We don't take your data without your permission, we don't sell anything that can be identifiable to you as a person and most importantly, we respect your right to privacy as a customer. You are a person and you want to be able peruse the internet without spyware everwhere. Lets talk about what exactly we collect and what we use it for.

Emails and Accounts

When creating a regular Cubix account you always disclose the following information to us: your email address and your username. When signing up with email, we also collect your password to allow you to access our services. Additionally we take a timestamp of when you signed up to display your account age.

Additionally, if signing up with Google, Github or Discord you also disclose any information that is passed those service's APIs. That data may include First and/or Last Name, Profile Picture and additional account information. Cubix does not read this information for any purpose. We do not store any identifiable information that can connect your data on Cubix Infinite or the Cubix Website to information outside our services, such as YouTube Channel Name, Github Repos, Discord social links and more. Cubix only uses the bare minimum of information required to link your external account to our services.

When signing up to join Cubix Mailing Club, Cubix collects your email address. Mailing Club is opt-in for standard users and opt-out for Developers. Cubix Collects emails for the purpose of sharing information with you and verifying that you are who you say you are. We don't share this email except with our mailing service provider (MailerLite) and our internal database for storage. You can request your information to be deleted from our system at any time by emailing [email protected]

Developer Compliance

As outlined, in our Infinite Developer Guidelines, Developers are required to adhere to our Do Not Track Me policy regarding information. Developers may collect information about you depending on what you're playing including but not limited to: game usage, playtime, friends actively playing, email address and username. Developers may also opt to use shopCubix to sell ingame purchases. Cubix collects billing information you provide to ensure that the sale goes correctly and so we can send you confirmation of the sale.

Additionally, Cubix may use developer submitted details like Game Descriptions, icons, banners, CRB ratings and other details related to games in promotional material and may disclose publicly available information to the public to better help shopCubix users and other shoppers make choices on what to buy.
